EGMP Coordination Unit

The AEWA Secretariat services and coordinates the overall process of the EGMP, including its respective bodies (AEWA European Goose Management International Working Group and EGMP Data Centre) and the participating Range States. 

The EGMP Data Centre has been established through a Memorandum of Cooperation between the AEWA Secretariat and Aarhus University, Denmark. Aarhus University provides the services required from the EGMP Data Centre, while the actual EGMP Data Centre has a decentralised structure and  also involves expertise from other scientific institutions, as necessary.
