AEWA's New Intern Tara
AEWA's New Intern Tara
Tara is the new Public Information intern with AEWA. After completing her BSc, in Environmental Science and Anthropology, and her MSc, in Social and Cultural Psychology, she combined her passion for human behaviour and the environment and gained experience working with NGOs. She worked in Malawi on reforestation initiatives and practices within the district and then went on to work with an NGO on coral reef restoration in Malaysia. More recently she worked in branding and communications in a start-up.
During her internship she will be primarily working in regard to the communications, website pages and social media platforms of EGMP. Tara will be working on various different tasks which involve the research, data, documents, and also the personal engaging stories associated with AEWA and EGMP. She is very keen to learn and develop her skills in creating content and advancing her communication strategies whilst working in the AEWA and EGMP Unit.
